Hey, I’m Sydney

A therapist blending clinical expertise with deep intuition to help adults heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves.

My Approach

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW in Colorado, LICSW in Massachusetts), former massage therapist, and deeply curious human with a passion for understanding what shapes us—and what helps us find our way back to ourselves.

My approach to therapy exists at the intersection of science and mystery. I draw from evidence-based practices including EMDR, IFS/parts work, CBT, DBT, attachment work, narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing, alongside somatic awareness and nervous system regulation. But I also believe there is room in healing for intuition, symbolism, spirituality, ritual, meaning-making, and the parts of being human that science can't always neatly explain.

I’m not a buttoned-up therapist, and I don’t pretend to have all the answers. I’m human too. I make mistakes, I own them, I laugh, I thoughtfully self-disclose when I believe it can serve the work, and I continue to learn about myself alongside the people I support. I believe authentic human connection is not separate from therapy—it is one of the most powerful parts of it.

While I have extensive experience helping people develop practical tools to regulate emotions, manage symptoms, and navigate everyday life, my deepest work goes beneath the surface. I’m interested in the why. Together, we explore the core wounds, limiting beliefs, protective patterns, attachment experiences, and old stories that continue to shape how you see yourself, your relationships, and what you believe is possible for your life.

I believe our experiences live in more than our thoughts. My background as a massage therapist taught me to pay attention to the body, and that understanding continues to shape my work today. We may explore what your nervous system is communicating, where you feel disconnected or unsafe within yourself, and how you can begin rebuilding a relationship with your body rooted in trust.

Most importantly, I want therapy to be a place where you don't have to leave parts of yourself at the door. Your skepticism is welcome. Your spirituality is welcome. Your intuition, questions, contradictions, grief, humor, anger, curiosity, and uncertainty are all welcome here.

My role isn't to tell you who to become. It's to walk alongside you as we uncover what's been buried beneath survival, expectations, and old beliefs—so you can reclaim your voice, reconnect with your inner wisdom, and remember the most authentic version of yourself.

A space for curiosity, connection, and re-enchantment.
